How to style thick,straight long hair to keep it flat?
I have straight thick long hair and i like to keep my hair as flat as possible. I usually cut it to a medium length and get it layered so it stays flat but it keeps on poofing up as it grows.
P.S. I am a guy.
Also what kind of hair products would i use to keep it flat?

When you get your next hair cut get it thinned out
Avoid ANY products with the word volume on it..
make sure when you straighten it you really get the root
cause kinky roots underneath with make your hair poof
Use a smoothing hairspray (got2b smoothing doesnt feel like you have any hairspray in and it works except it smells very girly if you dont mind) and comb it
use a serum.. like biosilk or just any finishing shine serum NOT a lot to avoid greasy-ness and your good to go!
