help i need some serious makeup advice?
k im a 16 year old girl and since 9th grade i always wore jet black eyeliner and mascara to distract people from seeing how tired i looked all the time but now im sick of relying on this. (i never ever wore cover-up) i have these incurable dark circles and a very sickly yellow skin complexion and my friends always ask me if im sick. but ive been to the doctor and she said i have controlled my anema because i take iron supplement and eat more iron rich foods. without makeup i look dead, tired or sick. can u suggest any coverup product that wont look caky because i dont want to wear eyeliner anymore but i dont want to look dead in school. here is a picture of me if this helps: http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp309/faryalcrazy/Untitled796.jpg
You should get a nice light-weight foundation to even out your skin-tone a little - you're young and your skin looks smooth so don't cake it on! The key to foundation is getting the right color, so take someone with you who can help you match it if you're inexperienced. Too light will make it look cakey, too dark will look like mud =/
Also, get a nice light-colored blush: a nice pink/mauve color will probably look good with your skin-tone and hair. For your eyes, to make you look more awake, you could just apply a neutral color eyeshadow on your lids, and line ONLY your top lid with eyeliner - Then curl your lashes and apply mascara, again to ONLY your top lid. If you wanted, you could even take a white/gold/light colored eyeshadow and blend it along the inner corners of your eyes. It shouldn't look drastic, but it will brighten up your eyes a little and make you look more awake.
