Do I wear too much makeup for a 14 year old?
I wear:
Foundation (sometimes), black eyeliner underneath (sometimes), blush, mascara, concealer, and lip gloss.
Is this too much? How much do you wear, and how old are you? 
Do you think this amount is appropriate for school?

I do think that you wear a little too much. I'm fourteen as well, a freshman in high school, and I wear a really little amount of makeup. We're both still young, makeup shouldn't be too much. It doesn't sound like you wear TOO much though, if the amount you wear makes you feel confident then wear it. I understand completely wearing foundation or concealer. Occasionally, or on days when my skin is a little broken out I'll wear a light application of foundation to conceal blemishes; I most certainly don't cake it on though. I also wear lip gloss, sometimes ( to mix up your look) try chap stick; a natural and bare looking lip sometimes looks really good! For me my makeup depends on how lazy I am in the morning. I'd frankly have extra sleep than do makeup. I also am on my high school's basketball team and we have 6 AM practice that goes until 7:45 and school starts at 8:20 (we're a small school and have to practice at a local community center) so I'd rather take a shower than do my makeup. I occasionally wear a little eyeliner- I'm a medium brunette with dark eyebrows and eyelashes so black eyeliner works for me. But dark brown does too. i personally think that the slightest bit of eyeliner on the waterline looks really good- however if it is too dark I think that it looks sort of bad. A little bit looks natural, emphasizes your eyes, and makes your lower lashes look a little darker. I don't really think that blush is needed personally, I only use blush when I'm in plays. For an everyday look I'd say go natural if your skin isn't acting up. I always feel better when I have absolutely no foundation or concealer on but my skin looks good. Blush is a little too much for a fourteen year old and also is a little overdone for school- I actually think that wearing blush makes girls look a little fake.
I personally don't really like mascara (if you don't wash it off really well every night then it can ruin your eyelashes) and prefer the thinnest line of liquid black eyeliner on the top lid (as close to the eyelashes as possible) because it opens up your eyes and makes your eyelashes look thicker in a subtle way.
I think that foundation/concealer (when necessary), lip gloss, and maybe the slightest bit of eyeliner, are all that is needed for school! It will make you look really natural and will let your beauty- not the makeup- stand out!
