How do you apply make-up? What are some great products?
Am seventeen years old and am new with make-up nd i need major help...am nt sure if am applying it well...this is my routine..i apply use a pressed powder i add a little bit of bronzer under my cheek bones and i apply a little bit of blush and black eyeliner and mascara lastly sheer lip gloss.
i hear you have to wear face primer before appling make-up then liquid foundation then pressed powder picking the right brush etc.
My question is how do you apply make-up with out covering my freckles? What are some great products?
Ok..this is gonna be long:) I'll try give as many tips as I can!
The first thing you should do is find the perfect shade for your face. To do this just put a little of foundation of the side of your face and blend it into your neck..if its the same colour as your neck, then thats the colour for you:) and you can ask for help in the store too! And if your shade is right, it wont cover your freckles! ( i have them too!) There's nothing worse than when someone has an orange face and a white neck!! haha
I wouldn't say face primer is essential. What's more important is putting powder over your foundation to set it...a translucent one..and during the day to touch up your foundation you can just put on some powder over any shiny/oily areas. make sure not to put too much on coz it might cake! Also be sure to moisturise before putting your make-up on.
Brushes= you need a brush for your powder (a big one) and for your blusher (usually an angled one).Blender brush for your eyeshadow. You can get a foundation brush...but using your fingers is good too! Because this is all new to you, don't spend too much on the brushes because they can be really expensive. you can get them here for about 6-8 euro , 10 the most(im in ireland..dunno where u are?) And then if you want, you can invest in good brushes that will last forever! (MAC!)
When putting on your blusher, smile and just tap the blush onto the apples of your cheeks and blend towards the hairline. You can put some along your cheekbone too.dont go under the bone though.And then ya... put bronzer under your cheekbones to contour 
Hmm i don't know if you want tips about eye make-up? But like the others said....Youtube is great! Some good channels are Pixiwoo, juicystar07 and kandeejohnson (my fave).
When it comes to products...L'Oreal do great foundation, love Maybelline. NYC are good! Just the same with the brushes, you don't need to spend a fortune on make-up!
