My girlfriend messes up her makeup a lot?
She's really pretty without it.
She puts on makeup every morning and when she comes to school, her eyeliner is smudged or her eyeshadow looks a bit crusty?
She's Asian and i think she has a problem with her eyes. Her eyes are so pretty to me, but she's always telling me that she wants "double eyelids" like me. I'm also asian but i have that crease thing.
this leads to her wearing too much eyeliner or doing a bad job on putting this thing called "eyelid glue" or "eyelid tape."
If your Asian, you might understand what that stuff is. It's basically tape or glue that makes a fold on your eyelids.
Should i just tell her?
Do girls get offended if they are told this?

Well if my boyfriend said "hun, you know I care about you, but the way you are doing your makeup is really not working for you" and tells me nicely, then I would be a little defensive, but then ask why he thinks so.
I'd rather my boyfriend be honest than not tell me if he thinks I look bad. I mean, if you started wearing really bad clothes, and you looked really weird, wouldn't you want your girlfriend to tell you?
Oh and, price of the makeup has nothing to do with it.
I wear cheap makeup, and it works better or the same as "good quality" makeup. It's how it's applied, what is used with it, that determines if the makeup will look good. That is why MAC girls tend to look really nasty, they do not know how to apply the makeup.
How about going to the mall with her one day, where there is a store that sells makeup and offers make overs? Get her to go in there (I advise to not go to a MAC store, they are not the best company) and see if they will do her makeup to work with her eyes. Try a Sephora store if there is one near you, they should do it for free. Offer to buy her a few products too, some trial sizes (usually are half the price of the full sized ones) after the person does her makeup. That way, she can learn new techniques, see her eyes in a new way, and she might finally start doing her makeup in a better way.
