How to make my memakeup look more natural, but still last and give coverage?
this is me:

Everyone always tells me to wear less makeup, but how can I apply it to last and cover and still wear less?
Videos or instructions plz.
Products I use:
CoverGirl Natural Radiance fountation
Bare Minerals powder(loose) and blush
Black generic eyeliner
Black 2000 calorie mascara
Sheer gloss
(I occasionally apply concealer if necessary)
I am a makeup artist.
I have to say that you are not wearing too much makeup, you are just applying it wrong. It looks like you are wearing bronzer in the photo, if not, then maybe it's the Bare Minerals? It's not well blended, which equals to people thinking you are wearing too much.
I wouldn't recommend using Covergirl. Try Mac's Studio Fix or Mineralize line. But if you don't have the cash and continue wearing CoverGirl foundation, you don't need Bare Minerals on top. You are literally putting two foundations on top of one another. There is a huge difference between powder foundation and finishing powder, the latter being translucent and light and used solely for setting makeup. Are you trying to use the Bare Minerals to set your makeup? Don't. Use one or the other.
1) Try using the Covergirl foundation with a translucent finishing powder, or a bronzer.
--OR--
2) Use concealer to cover up trouble spots, followed by Bare Minerals loose powder buffed all over.
Another problem. BAD brushes. Try using a Sonia Kashuk powder brush for all-over powder application, using long strokes and making sure to tap off excess powder before applying. For bronzer, use a soft angled blush brush and apply sparingly to cheekbones, down sides of nose and from temples to jawline. Making sure to BLEND well and finish by using the powder brush to blend more.
You don't need to use eyeliner on your entire eye. Try lining the upper lash line only, followed by mascara. Dab a little white or beige creme shadow in the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop. Since you have blue eyes, you should opt for coppers, yellow-based browns, bronzes, peaches and golds.
If you use bronzer, you don't need blush, but if you insist on using it, use it VERY sparingly on the apples of you cheeks and on the tip of your nose.
