Step by step instructions to make eyelashes longer??!?
hey i really want my eyelashes longer.. this is whar i usually do to them
1. curl them
2. put on "the colossal volum' express" by maybelline
3. put on "BUXOM lash" by bare essentials
4. seperate lashes so they arent clumpy
5. curl lashes again
6. put on "the falsies volum' express" by maybelline
7. curl lashes again
they dont look long at all.. am i using the wrong mascara? do you have any recomendations? how do you do your eyelashes??????
Here is a slightly recycled answer I've been giving people who want to grow their lashes:
I've been using Extra Virgin Olive Oil on my eyelashes and makes them longer!
You get a Q-tip, get some oil on it, and put it on your upper eye lids on the lash line and on your eyelashes like mascara before going to bed. Don't put so much that it drips (it will sting if it gets in your eyes), but enough so that it glistens. You can use regular Olive Oil, but most people recommend Extra Virgin Olive Oil because its much more pure and you won't feel it on your lashes.
If you're not sure how to put it on, go on youtube and look it up, there are tons of reviews and how-to's for cosmetics and beauty tips.
Don't expect to see your eyelashes grow really long over night, it takes time but some people see results within the first couple of weeks, just keep doing it every night and they will grow.
Also, there are products out there like Latisse to make your lashes grow, they do work but can have side effects, plus they are a waste of money they are like $40 for a small tube whereas a bottle of EVOO is like $8 and won't finish anywhere near as quickly.

There are other types of oils (like Canola oil) that are used for this, but I personally recommend EVOO because I use it and it works!
Little tip: I also use Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara, its formulated to help your lashes grow, I use this during the day and the oil at night before I go to bed so that they grow faster. Don't forget to curl your lashes before the mascara (apply mascara in a zig-zag motion from root to tip to avoid clumping) so that they look even longer and prettier. Forget the "fake lashes" (they are a hassle and you have to make sure they don't come off through out the day) and "a lot of mascara" advice, one or two coats is good, if you put on a lot your lashes will just look clumpy and spidery, not pretty.
