depressed, binging, how do I stop?
Hello,
I have been on a healthy eating regime for about 4 months, and I am not those extreme dieters, I give myself occasional splurges if I have to but I know how to control it. I'm also still trying to lose weight, but healthily so I have been eating as healthy as I possibly can.
But today I have just been getting insatiable hunger pangs. I eat until I'm stuffed, sleep, then when I wake up again, I eat some more. I feel like complete crap right now because I have ruined my regime, ruined all the hard work I put in and I already feel really bloated.
Look at what I have eaten so far:
1. breakfast: 2 sandwiches with lots of stuffings and a quakers
(700 calories)
2. a box of chocolate sticks
(250 calories)
3. a whole wheat bread bun
(450 calories)
4. A blueberry bagel
(300 calories)
5. a chicken breast, fried meat strips, pork chops
(I'm guessing at 400 calories)
This all adds up to almost 2000 calories......
I feel like crap.........
please help.
i think that you binge because your body has been tempting all of those foods for such a long time since you have deprived yourself from it by going on a totally healthy diet. Eating healthy is great don't get me wrong it's just sometimes like once in a while it's good to treat yourself to a treat. Giving yourself a small treat that you have been craving will be rewarding and it won't make you feel guilty about you cheating your diet.
