Has anyone used MAC 7 false eyelashes? I received them as a gift and am not sure about them..?
What kind of glue do you use? Do you trim them? Have they ever embarrassingly popped off? Are the MAC 7 lashes too dramatic? What is the most popular MAC false lashes? I am looking for a natural look that makes my eyes look beautiful but having no one notice my lashes are false.
You can use MAC adhesive, or any high quality eyelash adhesive (this is important). Here's MAC's adhesive:

Yes, you should trim them. You wouldn't want your fake eyelashes going out far beyond your own eyelashes! That would look ridiculous. Just line the false eyelashes on your eye as if you were going to apply them (don't put the adhesive on yet). Determine where you need to shorten them, and trim the eyelashes carefully with a pair of scissors. Then, carefully apply the adhesive onto the eyelashes as per the directions. Be sparing with it in most cases! Don't slather it on, since it just makes it harder to dry, goopy, and it can stick your eyes together. Gross! Then, carefully close your eye, apply along the lash line, hold, set, wait a bit, then apply your mascara as usual on the natural and false eyelashes.
I have never had my fake eyelashes come off in the middle of anything. They're on your eyes, so you can feel how secure they're on. If they're feeling a bit loose, you might need a touch up. Carry your adhesive with you, and you can simply remove them, add more adhesive, and re apply quickly. However I've never even had to do that. For me, the trick is using a high quality adhesive. I don't use the drug store stuff, because my friends all HAVE had these mishaps with drug store eyelashes and adhesives. Get the MAC (I know that adhesive is good, that's what I've used), or go to Sephora, and ask what they would recommend.
As for the MAC 7 lashes, they are very natural looking. They are specifically made to be a natural length. As for the most popular MAC lashes, well, I simply don't know that. I generally play around with several kinds. Personally I am a fan of the 31. They are a bit lighter, add length and fullness, but aren't "too much" for me. Try yours out, try the 31s if that doesn't work out. But I would stay away from 6, 34, 35, 36, 37, 41, 42. Those ones are too much and too dramatic for day wear to pass off as natural lashes.
