Should I buy Manly 120 palette?
I have 88 Palette Regular (matte) & Shimmer. I am doubting if I should get Manly 120 palette? hehehe. I am a makeup addict, and I am so tempted to buy, but please give me some advice about the product's pros and cons.Please..(for 10 points!) Thanks!
PROS
* its great value for money.
* It has loads of different textures and different finishes e.g shimmer, satin, matte, glitter. Similar to Mac's finishes. so its great with practicing before you eventually want to move on to higher brand makeup. like me for example, i used to be terrible in blending matte colours, but practicing with that palette has made me more confident and ive started to buy MAC matte eyeshadows now rather than just buying the frost or pearl ones.
* it has loads of different shades of a particular colour e.g Blues have about 20 different shades, so its great for blending and helping eyeshadows blend more effortlessly into each other
* You got loads of eyeshadow in each pan. Trust me ive been using the same eyeshadow for all my looks when i use that pallete and i still havent hit pan. and ive had it for a year and probably use it twice a week,
CONS
* i think i was watching oxford jasmine on you tube and she said they tested on animals, so if you are against cruelty to animals then yeah this pallette wouldnt be on your list
* The colour payoff isnt all that good on darker skins, like im a mac nc 42 and the bright colours just seem patchy on my lid, like yellows, orange and bright pinks, so i have to put on a very strong base before i even begin working with them.
* you dont know where its made, so it might harm your skin, because you dont know whats in the eyeshadows, but hey its a risk i took and i it hasnt affected me.
*bit more colour variety, yeah i know 120 eyeshadow colours what more do you want, but its like 1/6th of the pallette is blue, 1/6th of the pallette is green, only has 8 browns, only has 2 silvers, 3 golds, only three colours are a true red, and its like do i really need that many blues??
Other than that, i dont regret buying the palette its great for a makeup student like me to keep and practice with. I buy them for friends and family that want the variety of colours but dont want to clutter there rooms with makeup or dont want to pay ridiculous prices for one eyeshadow.
