Am i doing my makeup wrong. makeup experts helpp:/?
no matter how much i sharpen my eye pencil there is always a THICK line on my upperlashline. i use estee lauder stay put eyeliner.how can i get a nice THIN line? i apply eyeliner to my lowerlashline also, but you can see some skin still. should i line my waterline as well to make sure no skin is showing? i apply tons of purple eyeshadow to my eyelid. i use a single color. (parfait amour) from mac but in pictures the eyeshadow is barely visible. you can only see the eyeliner. and sometimes you cant even see my mascara which i apply lots of as well. to my lower and upper lashes
before i do ANYTHING i apply black MAC paint pot.to my eyelids
i use BB foundation buttt the bumps on my forehead are still visible. and the saleslady matched my skin tone with the foundation.
i have VERy dark brown eyes.

Sounds to me like you should switch to a gel or even a powder liner. They are easy to use, so don't be afraid of them. MAC Fluidline is great. I use it with an angled brush. If you have a black shadow, you can also wet the tip of a tiny smudge brush or an angled brush and apply it like you would using your pencil to the upper lash line. Try to get as close to the lashes as you possibly can with the brush. Light, connected strokes should give you the perfect, seamless line with no skin showing. It's not about the liner you're using, really. It's all about the application technique. If you still see skin you missed, do your mascara and then go back over the spots with your pencil if that's what you prefer.
For the lower lashes, go right on your water line if you don't like the gap you're getting. Using a dark color like black will make blending a bit harder if you're not going to put the pencil on the water line. Do not use a powder or gel on that part. You will need a pencil for that. I also like to add a bit of mascara on my lower lashes to help the liner stay in place.
For your eyeshadow, try using an eyeshadow primer instead of the black paint pot. This will intensify the color of Parfait Amour. However, Parfait Amour isn't a very dramatic shade of purple. If you're looking for more color payoff, try dabbing the shadow on in layers instead of just brushing it on. Sponge tip applicators or flat brushes work great for doing this.
Try an eyelash curler to make your lashes look longer. Clamp it down at the root of your lashes. The closest you can go without hurting yourself. Hold for a second or two, then click it five times on each eye. Apply your mascara in a back-and-fourth motion from root to tip directly after.
And finally, if you have bumps on your face, even the greatest foundation will not completely conceal them. It's a raised part of the skin. I know it stinks, but you just have to wait it out and let it heal. Do the best that you can with the makeup and in time it will go away.
