How Can I Apple Glitter/Shimmer Eye Shadow Without Looking Tacky?
Hi Everyone!
I recently bought a cool little palette of 120 shimmer/glitter eye shadows.The package claims that they're "sheer", but one pass of the brush over my lids and it's loud as hell.
I'm not sure what to do, Should I take a light hand when I'm applying it or what? I love the colors, but I just don't wanna look cheap or trashy when I put it on.

Instead of doing entire lid, perhaps just apply near lashes, like a liner. You could do multiple colors that way, perhaps a darker color at lash line, a light color on lid, a medium in crease (blend blend blend) and work into your browbone. I'd use your fingers to apply a small amount, work it to blend together, and to spread into a sheer cover.
Using fingers, just dab in the color a little bit, blot onto your lids until it's a nice even sheer cover. shouldn't take much at all, and you can apply more for more color, if it's TOO sheer then
