Is Benefit lemon-aid eye corrector/primer suitable for medium skin shade?
I wanted to buy it but was wondering if it might look too light/powdery/cakey on my lids because i have medium shade skin tone and my lids are kinda, well they're not dark, but they're heading that way...
does it look powdery/cakey on medium/asian skin tones?? is it only for fair skin?
oh, and the most important question: is it worth £11.50????
I've used that before. I am fair skinned, but honestly, i don't think it matters what skin tone you have because you always want a light color around your eyes. The lightness tends to get rid of the "tired" look and makes you look more awake. When you first put it on it appears to be too cakey but if you wait a couple minutes, it melts into the dry areas. It gets rid of the redness and also the light brown that occurs on some people's eyelids when they get tired.
I am an eye-shadow girl. Always have been, always will be. When I purchased the lemon aid, the makeup artist at the benefit counter told me to use it as a base for my eyeshadows. You cover your eyelid with a thin layer of the lemon aid and when you apply your eyeshadow, it makes the color 10 times more vibrant.
Now i am not sure how much it cost... $11.50 sounds about right.
