first PC build?????????????
thinking about building my own pc is this rig any good and are all the parts compatible and if ive left anything out let me know.

That looks very like a very good build. Everything is compatible, and you've chosen very good quality parts. You don't really need the 650w power supply though. A Corsair VX550w will supply will have plenty of power of this pc and will also be enough even if you brought an even more powerful graphics card in the future.
You can go for an AMD AM3 Motherboard and Processor and get a GTX 460 for the graphics card, then you have spent roughly the same amount of money and get more performance as well!
Finally, make sure you get the 64bit version of Windows 7. In my experience playing with both versions when I was using the beta builds, the 64bit one was way faster and still worked with all of the programs I wanted it to.
