New Look for Blonde with Green Eyes?
Hey all!
I've had the same "natural" look for ages and am looking to spice it up. I'm 23 so nothing too old-fashioned and nothing too teenagery. Any ideas?
Currently I wear:
L'oreal e/s on the brow bone in Shroom Shimmer
Covergirl e/s in the crease in Tapestry Taupe
Covergirl e/s in the inner corners in Champagne
Maybelline unstopple e/l in dark brown
maybelline great last mascara in brown black
tinted moisturizer in fair with concealer in fair under my eyes
ugh...boring! Any suggestions for someone with fair skin, blonde hair, and green eyes?
Thanks!
Purple eyeshadow looks beautiful on people with green eyes, it REALLY brings out the color!
Depending on your personally preference, you can use a bright purple (try Milani's "Shock" or "Royalty" on lid, both look great combined with grey shadows) for a bright, eccentric look or a more toned down purple (try Covergirl's 4-Kit Shadows in "Berries & Cream" or "Ice Princess") for a sophisticated but still not dull look. Both bring out your eye color equally as well, but bright shadows always make you get a little more noticed. Haha!
Make sure you use a good eyeshadow base! I, personally, wouldn't even touch eyeshadow without using a base.
They really help hold your shadow in place, and make the colors more vibrant and beautiful. Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) is a huuuge staple in my book, but it is a bit pricey ($16 at Sephora). I however, find it very worth it.
An excellent, and cheap, mascara is Covergirl's Lash Blast mascara. Some people find it difficult to apply because of the large wand, but haven't had any trouble. However, if your skeptical about it, you could also try Avon's Daring Curves mascara, which is the first mascara I fell in love with!
Hope I've helped!
EDIT: I'm sorry! I got so caught up on eyes I forgot to talk about the rest of the face!
Since you're young, I suggest trying to avoid foundation (unless you have major skin problems). Enjoy your youth while you have it! However, you should ALWAYS use moisturizer! Especially if you shower or wash your face daily (water dries out skin). Origins has amazing skin care products for different skin types (oily, dry, sensitive, combination, etc). So if you don't already have a good skin care routine, I definitely suggest stopping by Origins or visiting their website.
Concealer is a great product if you have blemishes, dark under eye circles, or discoloration. Since concealer is a difficult product to shop for, I suggest using what you currently have if it's working for you.
BRONZER is fabulous! I also hair fair skin (can't tan) so I use bronzer every summer. If you're a bronzer girl, I suggest trying Physicians Formula's. They're great and eco-friendly. Physicians Formula also has a great selection of blushes. ![]()
Don't overdue bronzer though or you'll end up looking crazy!
LIIIIIIIIPPPPPPSSSS.
Chapstick! Moisturize ALWAYS! Burt's Bees is a great, simple chapstick. CO Bigelow (at Bath & Body Works) are a favorite of mine! It's like Carmex, but it tastes and smells SOOO much better than Carmex!
Hope this is more helpful!
