I have blonde eyelashes and all the mascaras I use clump up.?
Blonde eyelashes is rare but my mother and I both have them. My mom doesn't wear make up so I can't get her advice. I've tried many different mascaras. NYC, Revlon, Loreal, Almay, Mary Kay, Avon and some other department store brands. It all looks good going on but after about 15 minutes it clumps really bad and I have to remove it. Without mascara on, my eyes look rather naked. Any advice on ways to increase the length of time it stays on, or recommend any other brands or sub-brands? Thanks!

I have light brown lashes and sensitive eyes that can't take mascara. If it flakes a little bit my eye sting and turn itchy and red even with "waterproof" brands. I gave up mascara totally and now get my lashes tinted when I get my eyebrows shaped. Once the tint is on, it stays on for about a month. With color only, my lashes don't get thicker but they don't clump or stick together. Plus no smudges and the lashes stay soft. Make sure you get someone to tint them who has experience and make sure the tint-er knows about the safety procedures like how they will protect you from going blind. Most importantly, don't do this at home. It is more complicated than dying your hair or eyebrows in the kitchen sink. I've never had any problems but better safe than sorry! I love the results. Now my eyes pop even without other makeup.
