Reporting A Lancome Cosmetics Saleswoman...?
Did I do the right thing? I had problems with the same woman last weekend, and I was asking her for some help in choosing an eyeliner pencil ( Le Crayon Kohl) and she was totally rude and wouldn't give me the time of day. Well, I just called Macy's and unfortunately got the same mean woman and I asked if she had a dark green in the same pencil. She blew me off, saying they DIDN'T carry those pencils and did not have any of the green in stock. She pretended not to know what I was talking about. So I called Macy's and spoke to the manager ( she used to be the manager of cosmetics!) and she was very nice and courteous, and she is going to the department, and she is going to chew out (my guess) the nasty Lancome woman. My question to you is - did I go too far? Thanks!
Yaki, I'd be glad to answer your question, but where is it? I prefer Nordie's over Macy's any day but they don't have a Lancome counter.
Absolutely! People need to start complaining about incompetent rude people that we have to deal with everyday! I do not understand why people are so rude or act like you are asking the world when you are only asking them to do something that is in their job description anyway. Why do they work there if they hate their jobs so much? I used to just shake my head and walk away or make some rude comment back to them. I'm sure it doesn't do any good but it sure makes me feel better to call out a lazy person. You DID do the right thing. We all need to take the time to report lazy/rude workers to their supervisor's.
